There is a base price that anyone can use to determine ‘approximately’ how much their cake will cost. However, the final price is dependent on labour and decorating / structural materials used. In order to determine the cost of your cake, you must determine how many servings you wish to have based on how many people you will have at your celebration, and whether or not you would like to have ‘extra’ to take home.
Our cost per slice;
Buttercream / Ganache / Swiss meringue | Fondant | |
Wedding / Barrel Cakes | $3 / slice | $6 / slice |
Round / Square / Sheet Cakes | $2 / slice | $4 / slice |
Additional fees for specific materials requested/required, labour and delivery will be outlined in your quote.
As mentioned earlier, the size of the cake will depend on how many people you wish to serve and whether or not you want your guests to receive a ‘party’ slice, or a ‘wedding’ slice. Take a look at the guide below to help you decide bearing in mind that most cake tiers are 4 inches in height.
